I really enjoyed participating in the Reshelving A I really enjoyed participating in the Reshelving Alexandria 52 Book Challenge during 2025.

I read some books I absolutely loved, some that were okay, and some I didn't like.
Even if not every book I chose was amazing, I find that reading challenges stretch me, and I appreciate that.

Top 10 favorites this year (in no particular order):
*We Were the Lucky Ones
*The 100 Year Old Man Who Climbed Out the Window and Disappeared (I feel the need to mention that this had a lot of cuss words, as well as murder)
*Beneath the Bending Skies
*Across So Many Seas
*Shattered Dreams by Irene Spencer (there are several books with this title)
*The Glass Castle
*The Best Cook in the World
*A Tree Grows in Brooklyn (this was my favorite book in high school)
*The Tea Girl of Hummingbird Lane
*The Frozen River

Spoiler alert: The resulting broken egg in my pocket wasn't the best thing that happened today. 🤪
