Paint by Sticker books have been a huge hit with my kids. In fact, one of my kids came to me the other day and said how much he hoped to get a new one for Christmas! And this one includes 12 famous pieces of artwork, so it can count for art class for the day!

I know, I know, decks of cards doesn't seem like that exciting of a gift. However, they make a fabulous stocking stuffer, and so much can be learned through card games. Kids can learn counting, matching, following directions, and- most important- good sportsmanship.

We started out with a Snap Circuits Jr kit for my son when he was about 5. It has been a huge hit, and has held up to his sometimes rough use. It's definitely built well, and has many options of what kids can do with it. And it's not just for boys, my daughters love playing with it as well.

If your child is a little older (8 or so), you will probably want to go straight for the regular starter kit, rather than the Jr kit. With over 300 projects, this kit will keep your kids busy for hours of education fun.
