Big Batch Granola

Ingredients

  • 16 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 6 cups nuts (pecans, walnuts, almonds, you choose)
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 cup oil
  • 1 cup honey
  • 4 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 300ยบ.

  2. In a roasting pan, measure oats, nuts, brown sugar, salt, and cinnamon.  Stir to combine.

  3. In a saucepan, heat oil and honey over low heat, just until they can be combined.  Stir in vanilla.  Pour this mixture over the oat mixture.

  4. Bake for 45 minutes (or until golden brown), stirring every 10 minutes.

  5. Remove from oven and cool before storing in an airtight container.
